The release of Convey’s first studio album has been a great step for the band, with current talks to release a new EP by the summer of 2011. Currently convey is busy playing out and writing new material. The album consists of music meant to catch the attention of listeners giving alternative rock a progressive twist. On lead vocals Ben Cohen pushes the envelope of alternative vocal style giving Convey definition and edge. The ambient and piercing guitar tone of Jahan Rajabi is unique to his personal use of a myriad of digital pedals giving Convey its truly unique guitar element. Driving the band is Cory Jurkiewicz on drums ordering chaos while pushing the bands heartbeat. Underneath it all bassist Adam Merki uses all tools at his disposal to add heavy crushing bass and harmony giving Conveys sound full clarity. Convey hopes to take their sound to greater heights as they progress into writing more and more music. For now they are working hard to spread the word of their first studio album to the masses and deliver killer live performances.
