About

Singer. Songwriter. My new EP 'Some Things Just Aren't Meant To Be' is available to pre-order from here: http://eepurl.com/vJV49.

I play violin, piano and guitar. I study violin and piano at the Royal Academy of Music, and have played since I was very young.

I founded Semi-Circle Records - a small record label - to make it easier for me to release my music. Along, with a friend, I keep the label running on a day to day basis.

I write a blog called 'Pick from my Pod: The Most Played Song On My iPod This Week' where I review a song I have been enjoying over the past week.

I play in numerous orchestras, and have played all over the country. Last year, we went on a sold-out tour to the Czech Republic, and this year a similar affair is planned for Poland.

I have numerous influences. Noah and the Whale are a big one for me; I just love their music. Beirut, Ed Sheeran, Alt J, Of Monsters And Men, Billy Bragg and Two Door Cinema are others but to name a few.

I am always focussing on how music can develop and evolve. I am fully aware that the music which is currently 'in' won't be in 20 years, just as classical music once was. I am always looking out for a unique sound, or a different way of writing a song, and am always trying to stretch the boundaries of what people may listen to.

If you are interested in my music, or want to find out more, don't hesitate to contact me, I would love to hear from you. It goes without saying that if you have any advice, or comments that you would like to make, tell me, provided they are not too rude.

Good day to you, boys and girls.
