Michel Post is the proud founder of the digital record label Colorswork Recordings. Youri Donatz (A&R) has been producing for some time and has already had releases with several labels. Michel has been working on music and organising parties since he was fifteen.

In 2007, driven by an enthusiasm for House music, they decided to release records together and set up Colorswork Recordings, a label through which they can express their innovative and artistic passion for the House music scene. They do so by way of their own releases, but also through the work of (new,) talented artists.

The emphasis here lies on credible club music in the House scene. And in the future, CD compilations will be released through the more popular download platforms such as Traxsource, I-Tunes and Beatport. Since 2007, Youri and Michel have released their own music, but they quickly started working with other artists on releases and remixes, artists like Phonic Funk, Bright Coffee, Franky Rizardo, Groovenatics, Jeroenski, Word of Mouth, Dave Mayer, Filin Brake, Greg Dorban and defected’s Stereo Mutants. They have also recorded vocals with Lady Bee, Patrick Chappell and An-Tonic.|

After about six busy months of releasing House music in the Netherlands, Youri Donatz and Michel Post noticed a significant contrast between the types of releases. That is why they decided to split the label into two divisions: Colorswork Recordings and Colorswork House.

Colorswork Recordings features credible Club music, whereas Colorswork House represents the deeper, more soulfull and international House music. Familiar names at Colorswork House are Bright Coffee (Youri Donatz and Michel Post), Phonic Funk, Dave Mayer Word of Mouth (Audiowhores), Filin Brake, Greg Dorban and defected’s Stereo Mutants.
