A brainwave and algorithmic derived chimes stretched over a throbbing F (from zeta) form the basis of the constant drone that runs throughout this (plus some layered voices from zero-g's Outer Limits). Zeta (thanks CM mag) is also used for the three 'events' that occur but the original voice (used for all three) is stretched and three different rhythmic filters have been applied. The idea behind this number is the crew being put into suspended animation (so they do not age) and they are oblivious to events happening onboard or outside - they just carry on dreaming. As for the opening - thanks to my grandson Rylee - who lent me his toy rocket.
I think it's interesting how your mind blots out the brainwave and the engine throb, after a while.
