Influenced by the various projects ran by Gerald Donald (Dopplereffekt, Drexciya, Der Zyklus), this nostalgic artist of the new wave delivers a dark and psychedelic sound. Attracted by the hedonistic side of the beginnings, “Coldgeist” is also influenced by the current techno scene with artists such as Sandwell District.
He began composing in 2008, taking his time to intricately carve his sounds into the kind of tones that he felt best represented his movement. In 2012 things became more serious for Coldgeist playing at shows such at Astropolis & Panoramas.
