At 15 years old, every dude is trying to get their hands on their first pair. Coastill already had his on a pair of 1200 MKII's. Hailing from the DC metro area, Taylor "Coastill" Castillo is surrounded by a diverse musical scene, but has, nevertheless, carved out his own corner to stand in.

As a producer, Coastill's current style focuses on drum and bass, but ranges from dubstep to moombahton. Each tune twists inspiration from the deepest underground of the scene with addictive hooks and an emphasis on musical progression. Cascading drums and driving baselines create a coherent cacophony of dynamism. Every track stands out whether it’s being played alongside the biggest anthems in the club or on shuffle on your iPod. His first remix was released in May 2012. Coastill's first single, Panta Rhei, was released on September 10, 2012 and reached #25 on Beatport's top 100 Drum and Bass chart.

Coastill's DJ sets are a high intensity technical marvel. Emphasizing mixing fundamentals, he weaves intricate long blends, surprise teases, and rewind-primed double drops. Known for his on-stage presence, Coastill creates a show that overflows with energy. His enthusiasm behind the decks puts the stereotypical stiff-bodied, head-nodding DJs to shame.
