A report on Operation Fast and Furious from the U.S. Justice Department's inspector general refers 14 people for disciplinary action. The botched operation by the office of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was meant to trace illegal gun traffic from the U.S. to Mexican gangs:
[1:57] "There have been reports that some people have been considering resigning. And one or two already have," says CNN's Joe Johns at the Justice Department.
Mitt Romney isn't backing away from comments that 47% of Americans feel entitled to some government program. We examine the linguistic evolution of the word entitlement which once had quite a postive connotation:
[10:16] "Entitlement was a pretty obsure word until around 1970. It had these legal senses but it really wasn't used much,"says linguist Geoffrey Nunberg.
The space shuttle Endeavour began it's flight from Kennedy Space Center in Florida to Los Angeles today. There it will be put on permanent display at the California Science Center :
[14:51]"It's gonna be sad to see it come to an end. Very sad. I think the public is going to really miss it. I know I'll miss it ," says NASA Flight Engineer Henry Taylor.
