Here is one of the tracks from my upcoming full-length album MY THIRD I, to be released on april 21st, 2011.
Putting together the entire album took more then a year and put me through a roller-coaster of emotions and self-discoveries that were not necessarily of the fun/happy type. Read more about my journey in crafting this personal collection in the press release that should accompany the album release or check it out on my website at www.cjburken.com.
Salvation-Eye was actually one of the more liberating tracks on the album and signaled the turning point for me in this whole process, when things stopped looking dark and desperate and began to look, feel and sound hopeful, promising and like my old-self again.
This track is true representation of my tech-house roots and love and feature some of my signature deep watery drums and light and airy bells and instrumentations.
Hope you enjoy it and get from it the same rush of sunshine and spring that it brought me. As always, your feedback and comments are welcomed, encouraged and appreciated - they are the stuff that make me a better producer...
