In addition to our regular panel discussion which will be posted on Friday, we have a special mid-week interview with nationally renowned strategist and Roosevelt Institute Fellow Richard Kirsch. Kirsch played a leading role in the epic battle to make health care a right in the United States as the National Campaign Manager for Healthcare for America NOW. More recently he has worked with a coalition of national organizations to develop an economic narrative that progressives can use to win the battle for a fair economy. We discuss how to restore economic opportunity and revitalize the middle class. In addition, we discuss Kirsch's new book which offers an inside look at the epic battle for health care reform, Fighting for Our Health (Rockefeller Institute Press, 2012).
