He began his career as DJ Tiago, producing for himself in FL Studio, developing his sound and style. He made numerous tracks and showed them only to his family and friends, always asking for their opinions and getting better with each track. When he realized his style had grown and changed, he decided to change his A.K.A. to Samwell Galez. At this time he had already switched from FL Studio to Ableton, “It has more tools and that makes things easier; it lets you free your imagination”, he said. Under that A.K.A, he made his first release on Hard Disko Records (Colombia) with a remix of a track of his friend Ivan Project. That opened a lot of doors for him and in less time than he thought he made his second release, this time on Fat Line Music (Sweden), in a compilation EP that includes his track “Breeze Of Sands”. His next releases were on System Recordings and Velcro City Records, both from the United States. Having done all this he thought it was time to develop his sound a lot more, because even if it was nice at the time, he wanted to make it more professional. He then decided to stop showing his music and make it evolve more instead. He worked very hard making a lot of remixes and original tracks for a whole year and a half, until he thought he was ready to showcase his music again. His first release after that long break was made under his new A.K.A., Chriz Samz. It was a remix of “Avalanche”, a track by DJ Fist and The Bass Kidz, which was released on one of the most respected labels in EDM, Wormland Black. After that he made another big release, a remix of the track “Absolute”, by DJ Fist and Rio Dela Duna, on another one of the biggest labels in the dance music scene, Pacha Recordings. He continues making high quality music, so you can expect to hear a lot of new tracks by him, including a collaboration with one of the most powerful voices in EDM, Shena, and many more surprises to come!
