maybe they didn't think it wasn't important because they were already dead.

the way the operator handled this is amazing. It is a part of her JOB to stay calm when speaking on the phone with anyone calling 911, especially someone who calls and says they've killed family members. The longer she can keep the boy talking, then more information about him she can get. She isn't necessarily treating him "like a normal person", she's keeping control of the situation and gathering information about what happened.
Anyone who says that the operator is "slum of society" because of how she's handling this clearly has no knowledge of how to defuse ANY type of situation. If she were to over react to his call, he could have become overwhelmed and raged out or committed suicide, and personally, I'd rather see him rott in jail for the rest of his life.

@Marcio Damasceno: I wouldn't blame the phone operator for anything. She is trying to maintain control of the situation and get as much information as possible from the kid. She also is trying to assess the situation for the police who are on their way.

like someone said here, he didn't loved or cared about his family, if so he wouldn't be so calm and wouldn't have murdered in cold blood in the first place

he's a psychopath. there's no question about that.
what impressives me most is the burocracy of the situation, the guy killed his mom e his sister and is treated like a normal person.
the woman was so cold as the psycho on the phone, this make me crazy.
they are both the scum of society. - SpencerDuncanMusic
