Christian Tiger School (Luc Veermeer & Sebastiano Zanasi) are Electronic Producers hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. Coming together for a love of Electronic music and Hip Hop, the pair found themselves experimenting in production early in 2011 leading to their debut album Third Floor (2012) released off Cape Town label Bombaada, an LA Beat Scene inspired album that sparked some attention, quickly establishing the guys as artists to watch.
At the age of 22, the pair have grown to be dominant on the South African Electronic music circuit frequenting the festival and club scene as well as opening for a host of touring acts including Little Dragon & Hudson Mohawke. 2013 saw them take on their first U.S. visit where they collaborated with Neo Soul singer Bilal & Queens Rap outfit - Worlds Fair receiving acclaim from Complex Magazine, Vibe & Potholes In My Blog as part of the Okayplayer Player Exchange.
2014 sees them perform at SXSW (USA), Primavera Sound (Spain) and CMJ (USA) and the release of Chrome Tapes ,their sophomore Release. It sees them taking a new sonic direction. While the Hip Hop foundation remains, House and Techno have been integrated moving them into the more Experimental Electronica field.
Chrome Tapes (a four phase release) has been released off a limited edition run of cassette tapes in April 2014. The album will be unfolded
onto various mediums, breaking away from a tradition. Christian Tiger School are known for their live shows which consists of tables sprawled with gear placing emphasis of being a live electronic outfit and not simply DJs.
