This is a demonstration of using Tattoo to beef up the percussion elements of an older track so it will fit in a modern DJ set. In this example, I EQ'd out all the bottom from the original track, along with a lot of the high end. I then doubled the existing bassline with Massive and a Tetr4, made a new drum track with Tattoo to mult the original one, and used another instance of Massive to double the string parts. I ran the original track through the "Dimension D" preset on my H8000 to give it a wider soundstage and give the new low end some room in the middle to do its thing. Note that this isn't meant to be a grand musical statement, but rather to show how one can quickly use Tattoo to jack up an old track.
