Thank you for taking the time to visit. All tracks here recorded live either studio or rough from front of house at gigs. The first five are intended as demos to obtain live work. If you have any work - please consider us! We are a band who write and perform, we are working towards a self recorded and locally produced album of original work - examples are falling down, living loving, sister moonlight but because we love to play, in order to get out playing we have included a lot of varying covers from artists we all admire greatly. None of the tracks up on here are more than rehearsal takes that have a varying degree of production from none to expert. they are all recorded live with the band either on headphones or with low pa. in all case, using either roland vdrums or allesis DM5. Not really how we sound when we can use Simon's real 70's Rogers kit live! The Diamond Goats are: Chris Larn, rythm guitars lead vocal, Ian Makachek on lead guitar and vocal, Steve Hardy Bass Guitar and vocal, Simon Larn, drums and percussion and vocal. We have all played since childhood at various levels in music. We bring many differing sets of musical backgrounds and influences to bear. We write as a unit with ideas from wherever and completion as a band. Thus we share equal writing credits. This is a new band and we are seriously looking to work. Because I love pretty much all types of music, I like to re-post my favorites from amongst those I follow and stream those on twitter.
