London-born Chloë Mairead Kiley’s parents met in a band, and she was drawn to music and performance from a young age. Chloë started playing piano at age 6, and throughout her school career sang in various choirs and eisteddfods. She has also been playing keyboard and singing with her band, Enmity, since 2006. After discovering her love for Musical Theatre at The Waterfront Theatre School she received the Aviva Pelham Singing Trophy in her 3rd year, and after graduating was nominated for CATA Best Actress in a Musical or Play for Forbidden Broadway. Her first real break was getting to the Top 8 in Season 8 of SA Idols, performing with Danny K and Toya Delazy, working with Tamara Dey, Louise Carver, Lira, Martin Schofield, Alexis Faku, J’Something and even John Legend. Unathi Msengana described her as ‘the quintessential Pop Star South Africa needs’. She has spent six months performing at The Hilton Hotel in Abu Dhabi in her duo 'Take Cover'. Take Cover are now a resident duo for Disney Cruise Lines, having just returned from 18 weeks on the Disney Fantasy, soon to join the Disney Wonder. In her free time Chloë creates small-scale Musical Theatre, writes and records music and collaborates with other creative friends.
