Cheets started off in Manchester (UK) where he generally annoyed everyone until he got to regularly play at legendary clubs such as Paradise Factory, The Hacienda and Garlands. His work in commercial radio led him to London where a crew called 'Ministry of Sound' headhunted him to develop their international and domestic radio content, and he did. Cheets took the MoS output to its peak with the help of a very talented and dedicated team, winning awards along the way and orchestrating campaigns across continents with brands such as Nescafe, Sony, Bacardi and others. Not content with working for the super brand and feeling his passion for the music restrained by corporate machine, after 5 years of working for the MoS crew he got of his ass and 'Global Dance Session' was born
'Global Dance Session' now airs on FM in 52 countries on around 1000 FM stations and more on digital and online platforms, its guest not only include the biggest stars of the scene but those more underground contributors who share the passion.
Cheets has been dabbling with his own musical creations over the last couple of years and has had several tracks picked up by decent labels, and his track 'Back & Forth' on 'StoneBridge Records' has been picked up by 10 compilations so far! Hes also just started another project "Quirk Music" which is due to launch at the end of August on iTunes, Beatport, TrackItDown and all the expected download stores. The Quirk record label will cover all genres of House music with no biased, as with Global Dance Session the ethos is to share the passion and creativity from all areas of the House music scene.
Hes played all over the world . . .blah, blah, blah, Space - Ibiza, Sullivan Rooms - NYC, Anzu - Rio De Janerio, Fabrique - Moscow, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, there is a long list of countries in which his toured up to 12 cities at a time. Hes actually pretty good on the decks, and so he should be with over 2 decades of experience, hes also a bit of a rascal with cheeky accapella's and 3 deck action when hes allowed.
So if your interested in Global Dance Session or fancy putting a out a release or remixing for Quirk give him a shout, hes not the moody industry type. Can't shut him up usually.
