About

BIO
Los Angeles native Charlie Wadhams initially took to the drums at the age of twelve, eventually playing in L.A. bands such as The Movies and Kennedy. He went on to front Rex Aquarium, which released two full length albums in 2003 and 2005. When the band split in 2006, he went solo and recorded, “Free Up Your Schedule”, produced by Mike Andrews, and released in 2007. Wadhams’s tracks “Let’s Duet” (co-written with Benji Hughes) and “Guilty As Charged” (co-written with Gus Seyffert) landed in Judd Apatow’s Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story as Andrews produced the music for the film. Wadhams also placed “My Love” from “Free Up Your Schedule” on ABC’s dramedy, Men In Trees and more recently in the new film “Cyrus” starring John C. Reilly, Marisa Tomei, and Jonah Hill. In 2009, Wadhams released “In A Goldmine”. "Upside Down" is his latest release. He is currently recording a full length album which is expected to be done by the end of 2011.
