The low tones of the piano add a certain feel into the mix i just feel this one should be long it tells a story this track what story now thats up to you but working well so far.

The changes and all from major to minor and through out the track i think work well but maybe try it with different sounds might find very amazing what you find !
- Change of Intent on November 11, 2009 02:02
@crabnebula: Thank you very much! This is actually an old track, but I figured out my volume issues with exporting and wanted to give this one a shot! I'm definitely tempted to revisit it now though =)
- crabnebula on November 11, 2009 02:31
@Change of Intent: Funny how that happens actually i had a good experience with revisiting tracks people had liked that i wasn't to into myself that i'd made go for it !

To me here the string period sounds slightly off key some chorusing would fix that the rest of the arrangement is working well.
- Change of Intent on November 16, 2009 01:39
@crabnebula: Well, I fixed it, and spruced it up a bit. Unfortunately it appears Soundcloud has changed it so that Replacing Audio is only available for Premium Members. Just gonna re-upload it -_-

@Change of Intent: Unless you mentioned yes the tone goes higher and less low end i don't its notice it unless produced it. The sound here is maybe a bit flat EQ wise but other wise good show !
- Change of Intent on September 05, 2009 02:05
@crabnebula: That's a good point, the crash cymbal really helps it smooth over and it works pretty well. Glad you liked it!

@Change of Intent: It actually really works! good track, nice work

Was just screwing around tonight, and this is an amalgamation of different stuff. It's really not intended as a finished piece per say...the piano was a base but I wasn't happy with any of the lyrics I came up with for it and so eventually ended up with this. Lemme know what you think so far tho ...A Midnight Stroll (New version!) Uploaded by Change of Intent Start following Send a message on September 01, 2009 09:30

Liking the discordance in it and then the groove is really inventive here.

@indieshows: Nope actually! I'm flattered, I think that state of singing along to a song with one's own words is kind of speaking in tongues'ish if you will, like a really good sign. I would love to hear any vocals you lay down to anything! =D

The slight distortion / noise on the Bass works well not to over the top sits nice in the mix.

The feeling of the track is great but i think the overall volume of track is a bit low probably just a mastering thing.
- Change of Intent on September 01, 2009 20:06
@crabnebula: I agree, I'm trying to figure out what the issue is because Micorwaev definitely does not suffer from it - Ableton treats my renders funny sometimes but I'm sure it's just me doing something silly
- crabnebula on September 02, 2009 02:59
@Change of Intent: Are you using EQ on your return tracks or something that would alter the sound / levels of certain tracks etc ?

This one conjures up some really interesting imagery, I don't want to specify anything to alter yours though, so enjoy!Micorwaev Uploaded by Change of Intent Start following Send a message on September 01, 2009 08:49

I'd say I LOVE the changes in dynamics you use in the piece. And I really enjoy the rhythm parts starkly (!) contrasting the muted pads. :)

Like the synth piano lines weaving 'twixt each other.

I think detuned synth maybe needs tuning in a bit sounds a little out of place and maybe put some chorus on it and play with the delays.

Synth is overwhelming the piano here. but still decent.

Totally double the bass here with low piano coming in. (Suggestion only.)
- Change of Intent on June 24, 2009 22:31
@starkaudio: Sorry for taking so long to reply, I like your suggestion but am not sure if I am thinking the same 'double the bass' as you are - any way you could maybe elaborate? :o) Thanks for the suggestion!
- starkaudio on July 03, 2009 00:55
@Change of Intent: By doubling I mean you have this high piano part noodling around with a pretty melody, and a mid-piano part just pounding out quarter nots. Do that (ound out the quarter notes) on the piano...but also it as in the bass register. Fade it in. Love it!
- Change of Intent on September 01, 2009 00:48
@starkaudio: I get you now!!! Did anyone ever tell you you are a genius? lol will be doing this soon!
