Aside from the screams, which I pray don't get replaced with growls, the only thing missing is the subtle vocal crescendos and decre's on the phrases... to me, those little tool-esk crescendos add to the breathing effect that the instruments offer, giving the overall tesseract feel. I'm not sure daniel even knew he was doing it, but that made the band for me. Saw em with daniel at Vamp'd in Vegas, then the HOB at Mandalay Bay with elliot. Not that I want the new guy to sound like the old guy, i think elliot's voice is remarkable, however, he begins and ends each note with precision, which removes the gigiddy feeling that I used to get. Hah, I know I'm complaining that he's too perfect... Still looking forward to a record if he stays with it! On a side note, the new instrumental arrangement has a more spacey, fully extended feel, and less of the open-shut TesseracT that I dig.

I don't normally sit through too many entire tracks. I did for this one.

Is it just me, or does this version sound a bit more compressed on the master than the original? Honestly, that's the only part that bothers me. Elliot is the bomb.

It was right here that I realized that Elliot was the right choice to replace Daniel. Good luck, you've got big shoes, but I think you can fill them right up!

I do prefer the album version but at the same time, he's done well covering a song that wasn't written for him to sing over. Keen to hear stuff that Elliot actually writes.

I love TesseracT loads and loads but (with no disrespect to Elliot) we need Dan back. It's not the same without him, though I am curious to hear some original material using Elliot's vocals.

Good but not great. Original is perfect. Can't wait for some Coleman original work.

It sounds great, but why not the whole version with the screaming and the bouncy guitar part at the beginning with the ring out notes? Also, the ambient guitar isn't at the ending. He repeats the chorus 20 times too, come on guys you can do better... dont lose me and many of your other fans because of laziness.

You know, Coleman really does have an incredible voice. It's not as good as the original because:
1. It was originally recorded with dan so we have higher expectations of this version. Honestly, I think it was a bad idea to debut his lead vocals with a re-recording as opposed to showing his new material.
2. The length. It's not a 9 minute masterpiece like the original, and while it does have a small new technical guitar section, it doesn't end with the broad solo/ambient fadeout. Plus, I know from "Immaterial" and "My the Man" of Haunted Shores, that Elliot Coleman is more than capable than doing the incredible screaming parts, so why didn't he?Whatever the case, Elliot Coleman certainly is a great match for tesseract.
