Exposure to the like of Hardfloor, Thomas P Heckmann and other European artists expanded his allready diverse musical tastes. A chance listening to the now classic recording of Jeff Mills' dj set from the Liquid Room in Tokyo firmly entrenched Javier's interests in Techno and fueled his need to explore the genre more.

2001 Javier began working on his own productions under the alias CementO and has been refining his sound since then, catching the attention of UDZ Records and Prologic Records, two Brazilian dance labels who enlisted his services to remix some of their releases.

In the last couple of years CementO's hard work and diligence has paid off with his productions coming to the attention of a multitude of techno imprints. Musikpropaganda Label in Germany, and the Kidnapping Netlabel situated in Argentina, have both been impressed enough with Javier's production skill and sound architecture to add him to their artist roster, signing EPs and albums in the process, with other labels looking at CementO remixes to augment their release catalogues.
