I think a song like this requires an explanation:
My dad died of throat cancer in 1993. The last time I saw him, just a few days before he passed away, we hugged, we cried, and I always had the feeling he wanted to say something to me but he could not. I am not sure this is it, but it is the inspiration of the song. I hope you enjoy it for what it is meant to be.

For Dad. I will always miss you!

    Hello I'm glad you've come ...
It's good to see you son ...
It's hard to say goodbye ...
For you as it is I

    Soon angels will fly ...
They'll fly high in the sky

    So don't fret ...
    It's the peace that I'll get ...
And I know there are regrets ...
    Let's forgive and forget

    Soon angels will fly ...
They'll fly high in the sky

    And I know ...
It's hard to let me go ...
Son the pain will fade with time ...
Use the love I'll leave behind

    Soon angels will fly ...
They'll fly high in the sky

    angels will fly ...
    angels will fly ...
    angels will fly ...
