In just one year CAVALRY has been selected to play alongside talent from major labels such as UMEK's 1605 Music Therapy and Deeperfect as well as Germany-based Plasmapool Recordings. Early 2013 will see Ryan add Richie Hawtin's MINUS and PLUS 8 to the rapidly expanding list.

Having grown up just north of the Golden Gate Bridge Cavalry [Ryan Cavalier] identifies with Beatniks as much as BPM and holds fog and four-on-the-floor in equally high-esteems - maintaining a poetic undertone in all his work. An avid writer and event producer, Ryan is known to move people with the power of intelligent aesthetics.

Influenced by the Los Angeles & San Francisco rave scenes CAVALRY brings a powerful blend of techno & house to his sets. Having spent time immersed in London and Northern England music cultures, CAVALRY accents his performances with the perfect dose of minimal techno and deep house.

In 2011 Ryan co-founded a San Francisco based production company, FLASHBANG SF with the intent to provide a lattice through which local Bay Area artists, musicians and DJs can meet, form relationships and ultimately actualize their art on a legitimate stage. The inaugural FLASHBANG SF was received with an overwhelmingly positive response and paved the way for new parties such as: FLASHBANG SF PRESENTS and BOOBY TRAP.
