nice. i really liked how the harp was rearranged to create a nice driving mood, the drums were nice in sound but perhaps lacked a bit of enthusiasm, perhaps another pattern w/ the same drums... bassline was really good to round up in the mix, with its solid funkyness contrasting with the ethereal harp... overall, a great beat mate.

@dvorkru: Thx a lot for the small review mate, mate. About the beats: I'll keep that in mind for the next one. Cheers, mate!

Yeah, it sounds pretty old-school funky analogue. Reminds me of the Bass Station actually...

an unusual & beautiful song. sounds a bit like jungle version of air, which is a surprising mix :)
- Julien Mier on June 17, 2008 14:31
Thanks! Somehow I get compared a lot with Air, which I take as a compliment ofcourse. Those voices you hear right here is my own voice recorded with my microphone..

Wow, a n vice analogue synth tone. Seriously, this reminds me a bit of the theme tune to "Zombie Flesh Eaters" (I beieve it's known as "Zombie" in D-Land)! You did good here, my man.

@MellySingsDoom: the funny thing is that someone told me excactly the same. I should check that out soon I think :)

that was a quickshot of track, made in 85 minutes, from turning everything on to mixing everything down. just an experiment...
