@Horoku L. Foxxx: Well, the verses are mostly a cover of Self's song Resurrect, which seems to be about being "really actually alive" and enjoying life. I slightly altered the second verse to make it about someone I knew. The shouty parts between the more melodic verses are stuff that I actually wrote, which is about hating life, sort of a counter-point the original lyrics
