About
The evolution of the sound of the Cassidy Brothers transpired early on through performances at Ascension Church in North Minneapolis, singing for church, festivals and special concerts. For more than 20 years they have delighted audiences with their stunning vocal harmony, down-to-earth style and inspiring music. By the way, yes, Kevin, John, Joe & Jamie actually are brothers. Through the years their talent has been appreciated and recognized by many, their accolades include winning the Minnesota State Fair Talent Competition.
Their sound has been described as inspirational vocal music. The development of their sound has been built on the strong foundation of solid, close vocal harmony; their influences include The Four Freshmen, Gaither Vocal Band, The Hi-Lo’s, The Lettermen, Glad, The Singer’s Unlimited and of course, their Dad’s outstanding vocal groups The Upperclassmen and The Octet.
The Cassidy Brothers perform inspirational music in a variety of styles, including: pop, jazz, southern gospel, contemporary Christian, traditional hymns, and praise & worship. When all is said and done, it all comes down to the incredible blend of their voices that only the inherent bond of family can produce. There’s something about a family singing together in harmony, the similar voices in different keys that just blend in beautifully with each other.
Jack Cassidy: The 13 year old with the soothing voice.
jack has been putting joy in people's hearts since the age of three, he would often sing for family concerts in the Twin City area. Jack loved performing at an awards program in 2006, and 2007 at the Orpheum Theater downtown Minneapolis, the theater was full and he enjoyed it very much. In 2007 he took home an award from this program, he was in a high school production of Seussical, and was given a special recognition from the judges. He also enjoyed the Mary Beth Carlson Christmas concert in December 2011. Here he got to perform with four professionals, he had a really great time.
