About
Caspar was manufactured in Munich in 1972. He was subject to very strict parenting, and up to the age of 8 his only friend was a Doepfer sequencer he built from scratch. He managed to escape at the age of 17 when his parents put him out for recycling one evening. He studied industrial design at the Bauhaus but was expelled when his high-voltage prototype kitchen utensil caused permanent injury to the professor's wife. He then took an interest in electronic music, creating the world's first MIDI-compatible electronic tuba, and has never looked back.
Caspar was featured in the August 2010 edition of Future Music magazine - see here.
Caspar has now retired from the music business, and has returned to his castle in Bavaria.

Very good! Loads of reverb!
That's the bit I like best.
It's your best track. I'm grovin'!
It's quite unsual, isn't it? Very nice though. Very crisp production like you say. Well done.
Yeah, it's got a really nice Ibiza vibe.Could do with piano and strings though (joking!)
This bit is classy.
Ooh ... I feel a winner! Great track.
I think it's your best track yet.
When are you going to release "Fantastic Bush"??! Your fans demand it!!
@Skinny Chris: Yeah, really impressive. You've really improved. Well done.
@Caspar von Biergaaarten: Choirs are always a good bet!
I think it's one of your best.
Better than Hybrid.
Very classy.
Excellent production.
Great orchestra!
I am really feeling the unce.
HardCorrrr!!
You're definitely my favourite artist on SoundCloud.
Ooyah! Kickin'!
I really like this one a lot. LIke they say, very James Bond theme.
@Caspar von Biergaaarten: A small point, but the timing could be a bit tighter. It's a bit loose for my taste.
@Caspar von Biergaaarten: Once again, the recording of the vocals is superb. Best I've heard on SoundCloud (which are usually useless on SoundCloud). Drums are rather weak. I get the impression the percussion is not your strongest point.
@Project-mdp: This is my favourite of your tracks. I like the way you use a lot of reverb here. I'm all for using a lot of reverb. I like that big sound.
Yeah really nice song. The vocals are very well recorded, which is a rarity for SoundCloud.
Your material is certainly highly original. Keep it up.
So why did the Soviets give up socialism if it's so great?
Because their industries became chronically inefficient.
I'm not saying capitalism is perfect because it's not. But it's hard to find successful alternatives .
Refreshingly original tracks on the usually mind-numbing SoundCloud.
I love this track!
Quite a pretty waveform, but that is often a bad sign!
Just the slightest criticism that your tracks sound rather similar. And the subject matter is also rather similar. But it's all very well dones.
Superb production. If you'd told me it was a Britney Spears production I'd have believed you.
Great production on all your tracks. Well done. Sounds professional.
I'm gonna change my name to "Chris" just so you'll follow me!
I think your songs are great.
It's a superb track. Could you let me know what that lead guitar is - is it real?
Superb vocal.
I enjoyed all four tracks. Really good.
I like all your tracks. I think you have talent and you have found a style which really suits you. As a next step, I would suggest you try putting basic lyrics to the tracks, actually writing songs. Even if you can't find a singer, I would suggest that it would teach you the skills of real songwriting. I think it's the next step - you've certainly got the talent. Now try to develop. great stuff!
Yeah, I'm thinking "The Persuaders" Theme.
