Casketgarden was formed back in 1998.
We released 3 demos, before releasing our debut album THIS CORRODED SOUL OF MINE via Metal Age Productions in 2003.
The album containedAt The Gates/The Haunted influenced swedish kind melodic death/neothrash metal music and was a huge underground succes in Hungary and surrounding countries.
We gave tons of gigs promoting the album, we played on every Sziget Festivals during 2003-2006 and on Brutal Assault 2005.
The second coming OPEN THE CASKET, ENTER THE GARDEN was arude and raw stuff, but with more original voice. It was #1 in the soundcheck of then current issue of the Hungarian Metal Hammer (HammerWorld).
The band made many shows in Hungary and abroad: Germany, Austria, Czech Rep, Slovakia, France, Switzerland.
In 2007 Casketgarden was voted to Nr. 1Live Metal Act in the International Live Award competition's Hungarian round, and Nr 7 in the international semi-final.
The 3rd full length INCOMPLETENESS IN ABSENCE was the last album released via Metal Age Production in 2008.
The album was mixed and mastered at Studio Underground, Sweden by Pelle Saether (Carnal Forge, Fleshcrawl, Terror 2000, Grand Design, Necrodeath etc). It was one of the most important Hungarian metal releases in that year. It was #2 in the soundcheck of then current issue of the Hungarian Metal Hammer (HammerWorld).
The band played on EU-known fests like Kaltenbach Open Air (A), Brutal Assault (CZ), Eisemwahn Fest (D) in the year 2008-2009.
We are currently in work with the 4th album
THE ESTRANGEMENT PROCESS and looking for a label.
