Card On Spokes is the alias used by South African musician and producer Shane Cooper, who bases himself in Cape Town.
A live performing electronica artist, Card On Spokes is armed with an APC40, a microkorg and assorted gadgets to perform his live sets.

Having performed around South Africa at various clubs and big festivals, including the Red Bull stages at Oppikoppi and Rocking The Daisies, Card On Spokes loves working an intimate floor or a big rig festival setup.
In 2011 he released his debut 7 track EP titled 'In You Go' - available on iTunes and other mp3 sites. BPM magazine described it as '...one of those rare releases that grab you from the opening riddim/riff/crunch and just drag you into Forests of Yum. The beats are palatic and the grooves just bleeed Kool.'

As a musician outside of electronica Shane is also known as a jazz double bassist who has toured and worked with groups and artists like Zim Ngqawana, Kyle Shepherd, Closet Snare, Bokani Dyer, and Babu.
