Siblinged to two remarkable producers Two Inch Punch & Tage West
West Londoner Amy Ash (Known as Candie or AYM) is a digital music connoisseur and DJ with a passion for cross-genre beats and dance music with roots planted in modern DnB and Dubstep. Likened to Mary Anne Hobbs, she has extensive knowledge of bass music and huge experience producing and hosting radio.
Three years ago she and old time friend and producer Oliver York started a weekly live radio show on dnbradio.com called Forces Electric, which evolved into a successful club night at West London's finest beat bunker Ginglik.
Under the new artist name Aym she has recently moved into making her own podcasts showcasing cross-genre beats, from Triphop through Deepstep to Electro House and Dub Techno, united in the love of sub-bass.
Amy comes from a musical background with father Robert Ash a musical director of west end shows in the 70s, and two talented producer brothers, the elder of which is signed to PMR under the name Two Inch Punch. She has worked at BBC's urban music radio station 1Xtra, runs an online radio station and plays regular DJ sets at venues including the Science Museum.
