@starkaudio: Thanks, man! Delay is a powerful thing. Although if you're talking about the drums, you got faked out. I generally don't put a delay on my drums, but half the time it sounds like it because of my style. Heavy reverb, though.

@starkaudio: Some things just never get uncool. Or at least, they better not before I learn me some real instruments!

@MIKKELSEN: Yup! And yeah, it's programmed, which makes me really wish I had and was capable of playing an acoustic guitar. I'm okay with my electric guitar, but I really don't practice enough because I'm not good enough for the skills to be useful, and so the vicious cycle continues indefinitely. I used to know some people who were really good, but we all graduated at once and I didn't know any of them well enough to have their contact information. My best friend is a wicked saxophonist, though.

Is that a guitar I hear? I know you would have programmed it, but a real guitar would work really well here (perhaps you know someone). Interesting track - reminds me a bit of Ochre

@Campadrenalin: yeh id say it would be hard to seperate them the high resonances of bass and the low resonances of the bass would probably clash loads - sounds cool though as it is :)

@raytrace: Thanks! Unfortunately, you can't really hear the guitar when the cutoff is low, because it just mixes indistinguishably with the bass, but it sounds really awesome on its own, and I wish I'd done a bit more tweaking to get that stuff audible

@zuur: Yup, that's bassline plus a really note on my electric guitar sample, with a resonant lowpass on the guitar, so yeah, that's fat! Thanks!

@the-observer-d-ubserver: Thanks! The bass kinda carries the song so I went a little OCD getting it *just right,* and I'm just glad it was worth it

@the-observer-d-ubserver: Aw thanks man! You're right about the drums, this wasn't a pumpy-kick sorta song and I went into it with a very strong idea what I wanted percussion-wise. I'm surprised that the layering turned out okay, though, worried I had it on there a little too thick
