An odd little experimental piece. It's about growing out of your role in the world, finding where you belong, and figuring out what's important to you. It's about conflicting emotions and nostalgia and change. Basically, it's about where my life and my mindset were at the moment I wrote it.
It's probably not the best listening music, a lot of people will probably not like it, and rightfully so. But it's honest music, at least.

@narcofunk: heh, I *was* going for minimal :) I think if I put anything else in here, it would probably be gentle synth strings, but that vocal snippets things is also a great idea, I'll see if I can get some unlicensed ones for another song...

I like the texture that results from the synth melodies. Maybe a little bit too minimal? I'd give throwing in some one shot or sweep effects a try. Or even vocal snippets from some movie.

@Patrick Setty: Ah. I was more focused on the harmony and the collusion of external and internal forces against the melody, didn't realize they were getting too muddled together in the process. I'll see what I can do about that to make the hum more separate from the melody bass.

The sound gets a little too melded together here, try too make it a little more distiguished
