@Mushroomificationify: of course! A lot of the instruments in this particular track were free soundfonts from all over the place (not a great answer I know). I use logic pro 9. I often lay down a foundation of random chip stuff (plogue chipsounds/magical8bitplugin/soundfonts) then other soundfonty stuff (SNES'y sounds, anything laying around on the internet) then I'll add drums (I have a collection of drum samples I root through) and I'll add extra orchestral stuff from EWQL at the end like harp, brass, some light winds, and i record my own vocals for a bunch of tracks. That's kinda the process really. My main influences for this soundtrack were Animal Crossing, Yoshi's Island, Wind Waker etc. so I wasn't after a super real sound too often, that's why I opted for whatever soundfonts fit the bill.

@Calum Bowen: I think the soundtrack will definitely at least do the job, catch the player and make that game more noteworthy on the market. It's definitely something you've achieved here so far and that you won't have to be afraid of. Definitely. Keep up the good work, I'm really looking forward to the next tunes. Cheers matey!

@Edgar Phoete: Not yet. It's still in development. The soundtrack will likely be around 25ish tracks (- ___ - long way to go!). It's an indie game (not that that makes it unprofessional, was unclear what you were asking) with a buddy of mine but we're starting a kickstarter to put together funds for a Wii U development kit this month. I'm hoping this game'll get some attention : )

Ya, just listened to Super Ubi Land soundtracks and they are all of them very very well-thought music, very catchy with big themes you keep in mind instantly. Is that project over? professional?

Absolutely gorgeous tune. A lot of different kinds of influences merging perfectly there, everything's fresh, cute very motivating for the player. Perfect, congrats, bravo.
