About

CalicoLeaf is the brainchild of artist Nathanael Kurt Wheaton. Created as a showcase for his radically multi-disciplinarian attitude towards music and the arts, he adopted the moniker in late 2009 for the experimental electronic music project of the same name. It is meant to conjure and capture a juxtaposition of sharply contrasting textural elements. Whether they are visual or aural, read or discussed, experienced viscerally or dreamed of; if two such contrasting elements are placed side by side, sooner or later the urge to blur the line dividing them arises...
