Italian producer and DJ Davide Benedetti first joined the Cadenza fold in November last year, as the creator of a three track EP called 'Through The Years'. Featuring a nod to classic house, the EP saw Benedetti work through New York bumping house in the vein of Todd Terry (You Can't Do This), modern grooves with retro house structures on 'Moody Elise', and more bubbly dreamy techno with 'My Mother's Eyes'.

Apart from Cadenza, Benedetti also put out a remix of Ricardo Villalobos, Anthony Collins and Los Updates' 'I Throw Water Into The Lake' in 2011 under his own name, although it is under his alias Davidino where he has been the most prolific with releases on labels such as Safari Numerique, and Brothers Vibe's Mixx Records.

Here on Davide Benedetti's Source To Cycle you will find future leaning house from Mirko Loko and Francesco Tristano, classic Chicago rhythms from Delicious Inc., modern techno classics from Timo Maas and G-Man, sleazy bass and moments of percussion.

On his Source mix there's a wild kaleidoscope of influences from the likes of Queen, Muse, Yann Tiersen, Blink 182, Luciano, 2Pac and Eminem.
