@Candle Nine: ah! i see.
@c.db.sn: or does it even?
great work here. how does the math/metal/jazz/core band (the number 12 looks like you) fit in?
@Jaime Irles: Thanks Jaime!
enjoying this!
cool details here. I like the hi freq stuff/aliased stuff you have going on.
@Tanner Volz: YES!
@Hayes Starns: thanks! i used a bunch of linn drum samples.
@remst8: this is totally the soundtrack to A Karate Kid. :P
@vadox79: thanks Vadim, now to find a vocalist... (:
who is Miranda? (: Nice work here, these textures could easily co-exist in my realm of production. love the aesthetic.
@Cursed Chimera: Thank you sir. And BTW you and I need to pow wow... I'll be in touch..
@circle six: u can use mine before making the plunge, but I'll be damned if I don't want a 1000 as well.... Fuck, WHO AM I????
@djmada: thanks man!
@Known Rebel: thanks! I'm loving this little box. i traded it for another bit of gear i wasnt using, didnt expect to become so inspired by the simplicity of its interface.
@0-tmy: i would go so far as to say its derivative :P love TTA. Thanks for listening.
@PRODUKT: thanks man!
@Acid Bat: dont think i have vox in me. :P
yep
menacing. you know i like that.
is this the track you were talking about?
@IG88: rad, looking forward to checking this out.
this is really fantastic, great melody. is this available anywhere for DL/purchase/etc???
@boyhollow: rad! you know how i feel about This Mortal Coil...
I had a band in the 90's with Sean. Random I know, but i just stumbled across this. nice work.
this track has a claustrophobic feel to it, really enjoying the textures. great work.
pads like tectonic plates slowly shifting.
@Hayes Starns: thanks for listening!
@dataf1ow: thanks. the percussion was definitely a multi step process, drum racks, "randomization" resampled and meticulous edits. no magic plugins here. :P
@eOnic: thanks for listening, trying different things!
@Worms of the Earth: Thanks man. Can't wait to get home so I can mix this properly. Headphones are bumming me out.
@Tanner Volz: its not mine i swear. sometimes its more fun than a laptop and a mini controller on the bus... :P (dont tell anyone i said so)
came across this on reddit, great song! regarding the mix, you could stand to bring up the vox a good 2-3 db, i have a feeling i know what you are shooting for stylistically, but this is still a bit buried IMO. I cant put my finger on what it is, but the piano sits a bit odd in the mix (too "stereo" or dry.. not sure), i dont think its a volume thing. i really like where the gutar bass and drums are at, really cohesive. again, great track, i'll follow this one to hear the progress.
@Displacer: conversations that span multiple social networks... this could get confusing! (:
@Displacer: thanks! digging the demo's you have been posting. new record in the works, no?
@getyoumusicnow: will do, thanks for listening!
this is really quite fantasic
lots of delicious bits here...
this is really impressive. well done.
@Known Rebel: thank you!
