In May 2011, I was commissioned to design the sound for two installation artists at Parsons The New School for Design. I composed, mangled, and engineered the sound for Ashley Ahn and Nadiah Shazana, for their MFA - Design + Technology Theses using the noise of the Ahn exhibit's antique film projector as my only source material for one channel, and Shazana's personal Skype interviews for the other.

The result is a 25-minute evolving asymmetric loop in stereo. My aim was to create an immersive sonic environment that not only expressed the theses, but also involved the audience into the wormhole between two worlds, the delicate, dynamic and unstable event horizon on the holographic edge of the analog/digital divide.

Please see the linked video documentation for a taste of its effect.
