Bytesize is the alias of 19 year old Luton based Music Producer Charlie Ashton, who has already racked up support from big names in the dubstep scene. After making waves with his Debut EP, 'Another Kind' (released on Betamorph Records, June '11), Bytesize firmly set himself as one to watch in the forthcoming years. Charlie tries to incorporate as much melody as he can into his music, with the use of big side-chained pads and euphoric build ups, combined with the unique yet heavy-hitting drops in each of his tracks.
2012 promises to be an explosive year for Bytesize, already gaining BBC Radio 1Xtra play and support from Mistajam, as well as receiving regular plays from Plastician on Rinse FM for his track with DKS 'All You'. Mistajam and Circus Records' very own Funtcase have labelled him as 'One to watch for 2012', and to add to that, his anticipated 'Fantasy EP' is being released in May of this year with Foreign Banguage Records (support already coming from 501, Plastician and Inspector Dubplate, as well as several others). As well as having a huge amount of collaboration projects under way, this is also the year that we will see Bytesize embark on his adventure to play shows all over the country and continue his goal to become a big name in the scene for years to come.
