Cardiff based Byterate first discovered Dubstep in 2007 when he was played Burial's album through laptop speakers. He never fully understood what it was all about until in 2010 he went to Cardiff night CYNT. His eyes were well and truly opened.
Following this he regularly attended the night, and started producing and DJing Dubstep himself. By October that year, he was made a resident at CYNT and could play his productions to the masses.
Byterate's productions have gone from strength to strength, getting radio play on Radio 1's Sunday night 'introducing' show, and on Jakwob's Daily Dose of Dubstep show on 1Xtra.
Byterate has Dj'ed alongside some of Dubstep's biggest names, including Funtcase, Vaski, Jakwob, 16Bit, Jazzsteppa and Inspector Dubplate.
