Villa Fiasco: The Act of Sampling
Jorian Bekker & Jolijn Ceelen, Graphic Design students from Artez Arnhem, will be presenting their latest project on sampling, Villa Fiasco!
Jorian & Jolijn see sampling like a fun-house: a sample can be chopped, pitched, reversed, stretched and so on. For this project they asked a number of artists, that all work in their own particular way, to participate. To name a few: Machinefabriek, 7leaguebeats (Fakkelteitgroep), Terugklap, Inofaith.
The outcome is presented on an album, with an essay included. Come listen to both the outcome and some live performances!
I will be playing some danceable tunes on the after party!

Amazing to hear that in the intro you got a similar mysterious vibe from the sounds and added the metal scraping kindo sounds too :)
