Samples, sequencers and loops mix together with the energy of a live show to give birth to Burkinalounge. From the funniest jingles and TV-themes to the most diverse pop groups, from Squallor to Area, everything ends up into Burkinalounge's "easy-tronica" cauldron. Already playing around Padua since a few years now, they've been hosting some important events (Altavoz, Sherwood Festival and Sherwood Open Live) as well as local clubs (Banale, Barabba, Ombra Rossa) and collaborations (Magmalu and Jean Honeymoon). Francesco Gobbo (formerly of Dado Tratto) on keyboards and sequencers, and Alessandro Arcuri (The Smart Set, Alessandro Grazian, Hypnoise...) on electric bass, blend their heterogeneous musical backgrounds among with samples, musical quotations and loops, to give Burkinalounge a sound spanning from lounge to electronica, always ironic and fresh
