STRAIGHT OUTTA CHELSEA!!!

Bumps (real name Sean Casey) has been involved in the club and music scene since 1984, when, at the tender age of 16, he got his first DJing gig at the infamous "Le Snog" at Crazy Larry's on Tuesday nights. From there he went on to DJ at all of the "Chelsea scene" clubs right up to the early 90's. Along the way DJing at many one-nighters and events like "Enter The Dragon" and "The Pussy Posse" parties. '88 saw him taking his record boxes, from the clubs and warehouse parties, into the Acid House movement, DJing at raves all around the M25 and beyond. There he gained a serious passion for house music and decided that he wanted to start making the records that he was playing. So in 1990, after a period of working in various studios, he did just that.

His first hit came with his first single, "In A Fantasy", released under the name Chocolate Fudge (with then musical partner, Miles Morgan) on Azuli Records, which went straight to No.1 on the Radio 1 Cool Cuts Chart. When Chocolate Fudge's third single Locomotion topped the sales of its predecessor, it made Bumps one of the hottest acts on the club scene in the early 90's. He then set up his own label called Flavor Recordings. After several releases the label hit big with "Head On" by Ultraboogie. Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez rated it in all 5 spots of his top 5 chart in Touch magazine, and a major license to Sony/Epic soon followed.

His project Baby Bumps made its first appearances in the early 90's on Azuli Records and then on Ministry of Sound's in-house label. Later on Bumps set up OffWorld Records with BMG's help, which spawned his first UK national top 20 hit "Burnin'" by Baby Bumps, culminating in an appearance on 'Top of The Pops' and many other TV appearances besides. Baby Bumps' next single, "I Got This Feeling", was also a Top 20 chart hit in the UK and top 40 in the U.S."I Got This Feeling" was an up-tempo disco track mixed with the classic Michael Jackson "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" riff. The track also featured a guest appearance from All Seeing Eye's Lisa Millet who provided her booty shaking vocals. Baby Bumps spawned a raft of remixes for many different labels.

Bumps has also released tunes under the monikers: Ultraboogie, Buck Wilde, SFX, Atlantic Bumps, Homegrown, Matenso and his latest incarnation Bootyslapperz.
