I absolutely think this is one of the best songs I have ever written. First off...I put a hand held recorder of mine that totally sucks out on a play ground one day and recorded my kids and others on the playground. That same day on the playground, I picked up my youngest as she ran over to me because she got hurt. I picked her up and kissed the boo boo, but I saw a reflection in her eyes of the sun, and I thought my self, " I never want to lose this memory". After I put her down she ran off to go play with the others and I just kept repeating, "So let those sun reflecting eyes shine".

I watched my kids that day so happy realizing that I'm a rich rich man. I'm so lucky to have 4 beautiful daughters, whom I love and cherish so much. I'm going to miss those "sun reflecting eyes" as they grow older. But I have a huge gut feeling I'll always see that reflection in their eyes because ever since that day, I do. I guess it's Gods way of not letting me forget that moment when he showed me... There's nothing more beautiful than being a parent.

This song is for my kids. But if your a parent or grandparent, please listen and I hope it shines for you as much as it does for me.
