Builder of the House is the Portland, ME based musical outfit comprised of Rob Cimitile and sometimes others. The project's one and only album I am a Tidal Wave is rooted in folk and bluegrass, yet each song is augmented by its own unique element, such as ethereal glockenspiel, haunting vocal effects, or barbershop quartet. Rob's introspective lyrics are sung earnestly with a Jack-Johnson-esque vocal timbre and combine ideas originating from metaphysics, spirituality, biology, relationships, and other experiences in this crazy world.
