This is "SELF LOVE INSTRUCTION MANUAL" I know it sounds like it's still the first song but they're my songs so I make the rules)

This is "TREETOPS". The vocalist's name is Nico and she was six when we cut this. She named it too so I don't always make the rules.

'HERITAGE DUB" Definitely the oldest track on the album, the beat, bass and keys were recorded on a cassette 4-track in 1995.

Mash up of a b-side track "American Dream" and Mos Def's "Mathematics". Extra points if you know which film the opening sample is from.

The full title of this track is "Absynthe #1 (or the eternal search for truth & happiness at the bottom of a glass of fiery sugar)". Really. It's on the album "Stereo Also Playable Mono" by The Baldwin Fun Machine. Jason played the Hammond. Gillian gave me the School C record.

"aint no sunshine" "bill withers" remix bmix dub psychedelic "long version" "miss la" "b-side records" vocal "b-side all stars"

Twenty minute dubbed out psychedelic remix / version / interpretation of "Ain't No Sunshine", vocals by Miss La.

This is the centrepiece track of an album titled "The Sunshine Dub Sessions", which has five other interpretations of the same song in a variety of trip-hop acid-couch drum & bass dub styles, all performed in the b-side labs by late night demons Mark (piano), Leonard (casiotone), Cocoa (percussion), La (vocals) and Felix (guitar bass korg and programming).

The whole album is available to download here for free or pay-what-you-like, and also on cd, direct from us to you.

Lights down. Candles on. Skin up. Recline.
