This isn't a sentimental version of your typical High School reunion. Recorded at Gravity Studios produced in 1994 by Doug McBride. After listening to this song 16 years later?I'd change some things - but it's a great demo of my very talented band mates - Kurt Christensen on drums and Ben Rogers on Bass - guitar solo and production by Doug McBride. I'm working on a solo version of this piece but wanted to complete the set as it was originally recorded - it's a 4 song demo.

@Bryan Carmody: I was talking to Zak about that the other day -- how I got really effective with a double-cassette boom box in regards to editing in quick bits as transitions.

Yeah i'm working on it and Sad Beer officially will be the followup. I wish we would have known how technology would change because the mix tapes you used to send me used to be brilliant in the blend of surprises without jarring the flow. Something I never got the hang of. I came across an old sound list you made - good shit.

My memory of this song is you clutching your guitar in the shadow of your studio and them seeming to hang on for dear life. You always ride the shit out of it. I agree with Bennett. Hit record with it again.

And when you're working up your set it should be followed by "Sad Beer"!

@spanishlilies: SP I"m honored by your consistency in following and over this holiday I'm catching up on my Cloud - it's our rare four day holiday - cheers again to you for your thoughtful listening. I'm pretty pleased with the lyrics I must say - some of it's fictionalized and some of it isn't. Cheers, BC

Great story-telling lyrics and some killer lines in this. Good song-writing here. Nice to hear these Bryan

@markjbennett: many thanks Mark - first thing I'm doing is SLOWING IT DOWN. I think the cassette tape is getting a little tight - trying hard to find someone who can take the DAT masters which are residing on a video cassette and transfer them because this recording off the speaker of a boom box doesn't do it justice. But thanks again for the listen and support! Cheers, BC

Hi Bryan, I'm enjoying the storytelling, which is reeling me in brilliantly. Although it has a 'up' beat this is really dark. I'd love to hear how you would revisit this one. Thanks for sharing yet another gem from the vault. Cheers, Mark
