    De:Bug review: "From the first track on it is clear that this release is more about Funk and House than Minimal. Samples are puffing up and being thrown into a space which is clearly bounded by stomping beats. All this is moving one step further into occasionally wide, melodic fields - more than you're used to nowadays. These are tracks which can be located somewhere between Elis and Made To Play, because they're slamming but staying tricky and deep in a very abstract way. Five tracks which make clear that again and again Brut! is one of those outstanding labels which go one step further, but also look back farther and above all more deeply".
