Love it the mood of this song! ...great work!
@Starflower: you are right . I nade this ages ago when i first started recording. Im actually working on a remake so stay tuned. Thanks for the comments
Just re-listening to the song, I realize it's actually distorted all the way through, which is such a shame because it's so good! When it distorts it makes people turn down their speakers, which is the opposite of the effect you want, especially where this song is just crying out to be cranked. You should really re-record it. This has big potential.
The distortion in the acoustic guitar I heard all the way through the last minute and a half is tragic, I can tell by this point that it's just that one channel that was clipping but it really puts a crackle into an otherwise beautiful, uplifting jam. I can tell that you were into it and the performance is great and I know that it's so hard to keep the levels right when you're the one playing the instrument. I would suggest re-recording that solo at a lower level and applying some compression to bump the channel and some top end reduction on the EQ to level the hiss and it would be almost perfect. Some epic vocals and you've got yourself a hit.
This is another really beautiful song. Good work. I know how hard it is to play guitar with yourself.
@Fall Project 2010: Thank you, mate!
I love the change here - nice piece
