We all remember the horrible, overflowing bathrooms at Upstairs at Sal's. Well, in talking with the new manager of the place (now called Tabu), we finally discovered the reason: the only existing copy of the Broadzilla 2006 DJ Mix had been flushed down the toilet one night... and THAT was the reason for all the plumbing problems. Mystery solved.Did Jameszilla flush it in a fit of rage after being booed for playing Sugar Ray? Did KT-zilla because he was sick of having to haul his purple turntables to Sal's every week? Sarahzilla, because we left out "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See" by Busta Rhymes? Or did Thomzilla simply feel that it would never live up to the mixes of his heroes 2manydjs? The answers to these questions--like so many discarded cans of Sparks--are lost to the sands of time.

Once the missing CD had been repatriated to us, our crack team of mixologists and mix conservationists set to work on restoring this classic Broadzilla mix to its original condition, now digitally remastered in Dolby THX 17. A taste of 2006 (and probably 1986 and 1996 as well), the mix takes its name from an oft-used term of derision and endearment for that uniquely Broadzilla sound. In celebration of our Saturday, June 26 return to Upstairs at Sal's (sort of) with special guest Founding Zilla Sarah Jacoby, we now present to you:
