About

Broadway & Wilson (OM Records, Gallery Music Group, Industry, High Note Records, Café del Mar Music) is the production duo of Andrew Emil (four play music, Seasons, .dotbleep) and Jeff Bloom (PO!NTF!VE, Guesthouse, Movim,). Formed out of desperation in 2004 on the corner of Broadway & Wilson (in Chicago’s Uptown Neighborhood), their early productions landed on some of house music’s finest labels.

Forced to work together by an affirmative action clause in a record label contract and made possible by a grant from The School of Boogietronics (of Funkadelphia), the duo is making a comeback after a several year hiatus due to illicit photographs of the group that were leaked to the tabloids. After a recent court settlement, they are starting 2010 off on the right foot with remixes of Gene Farris’s classic “Here I am Baby (Broadway & Wilson’s We’re Back Mix) on Alphabet and a Re-Rub of BearWho?’s The Dancer (Broadway & Wilson Mix).
