Finally tiptoes out of the house, looking for a little quiet time. Pensive, it draws a face in the snow. Gazing back through sad eyes to the best of times. A rosy glow and a smile and the snow is melting.
It’s really not so bad. There’s always the sun.

The drums skip in, those piano chords fold gently around your heart and the magic squeezes your shoulders; slowly, you are warmed through and swept gracefully off your feet by Finally’s skittering minor key symphony.
Weightless and strong again.

Pop music can do that. Philco Fiction is a remarkable Oslo trio centred round the rich, haunting songs of Turid Solberg (pronounced Tue-rid) and the incredible sounds, beats and textures of Andreas and Bjarne.
Different again from the previous Philco songs on Norweigan label, Brilliance that have been causing ripples in the blogworld, Finally is the sound of springtime arriving. Each new Philco Fiction song on this EP adds another splash of paint to the picture of this wonderful, unique band.

Their debut album is coming in the summer and shows from Texas to Iceland are coming soon.
